QUANTUS Workshop (Ulm, February 15 ‒ 17, 2010)

QUANTUS Workshop on Atom Interferometry

Ulm University, February 15 ‒ 17, 2010

Organizer:  Markus Krutzik  and  Endre Kajari

Aim of the workshop:
The main purpose of the workshop is to discuss and exchange ideas between the individual groups of the QUANTUS collaboration and to spread the existing knowledge on atom interferometry. Besides introductory tutorials on the theoretical description and the experimental implementation of atom interferometers, some state-of-the-art experiments will be examined in short informal talks and the future tasks within the QUANTUS project will be envisaged.

The QUANTUS project is supported by the German Space Agency DLR with funds provided by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) under grant number DLR 50 WM 0346.

Location:
Ulm University, Uni Ost, lecture hall H7 in section O25  (position plan). To get from the IBIS Hotel to the university, take bus no. 3 starting at the bus stop “Theater” right in front of the hotel until you arrive at the bus stop “Universität Süd” (direction “Wissenschaftsstadt”).
